The Ghana International Awards celebrates individuals and organizations who have demonstrated exceptional achievement, innovation, and impact in their respective fields.

Our nomination process is designed to identify and recognize genuine excellence across various sectors. We welcome nominations for individuals and organizations whose work has made significant contributions to Ghana's development and global standing.

Nominations are open to Ghanaians both at home and in the diaspora, as well as friends of Ghana whose work has positively impacted the country. Self-nominations are accepted, and there is no fee to submit a nomination.

All nominations undergo a rigorous evaluation process by our independent panel of judges, ensuring that awards are based on merit and impact rather than popularity or connections.

Review the award categories and select the one that best matches the achievements of your nominee. You may submit nominations in multiple categories, but each nomination must be submitted separately.

Collect comprehensive information about your nominee, including their background, achievements, impact, and any supporting evidence such as testimonials, media coverage, or relevant data.

Complete the Nomination Form

Fill out the nomination form with detailed information about the nominee and a compelling case for why they deserve recognition. Be specific about their achievements and the impact of their work.

Submit Supporting Materials

Upload any relevant supporting materials, such as photos, videos, publications, or other documentation that strengthens the nomination. These materials help the judges better understand the nominee's contributions.

Review and Submit

Review your nomination for completeness and accuracy before submitting. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with a reference number for your nomination.

Can I nominate myself or my organization?

Yes, self-nominations are accepted and treated with the same consideration as nominations submitted by others. Many of our past winners were initially self-nominated.

Is there a fee to submit a nomination?

No, there is no fee to submit a nomination for the Ghana International Awards. The nomination process is completely free.

Can I nominate someone who is not a Ghanaian citizen?

Yes, the Ghana International Awards recognizes both Ghanaians and friends of Ghana whose work has made significant contributions to Ghana's development and global standing. Non-Ghanaians whose work has positively impacted Ghana are eligible for nomination.

Can I submit multiple nominations?

Yes, you can submit multiple nominations for different individuals or organizations. You can also nominate the same individual or organization in multiple categories if their work spans different areas. However, each nomination must be submitted separately.

How are nominations evaluated?

Nominations are evaluated by an independent panel of judges with expertise in the relevant fields. The evaluation process considers factors such as the significance of achievements, innovation, impact, leadership, and contribution to Ghana's development. The judging process includes multiple rounds of review to ensure thoroughness and fairness.

When will I know if my nomination has been successful?

Finalists will be announced on July 1, 2025. All nominators will be notified by email about the status of their nominations. Finalists will be featured on our website and invited to the awards ceremony on September 21, 2025.
